Reminders for the Conference
It's hard to believe the conference is only a few days away! We are so excited to meet each and every one of you. Thank you for supporting the LMME and Building Community Relationships!
You will get an email reminder about your registration and details for the day, but here are some brief tips if you can't wait to plan:
The conference is at Science World, located right beside the skytrain station. We suggest carpooling or transit, if possible. Parking fees are not included in your conference fees.
Make sure you have registered! It will make the morning run much more smoothly.
Get a good rest and get yourself to Science World a few minutes before 9am. Doors will open at 8:30. Some of the sessions are in smaller rooms, so come early to ensure you get your first choice of sessions. Head to our main page to read our session titles.
Plan for sustainability: bring a travel mug, plate (or container), fork, and napkin. If you bring your reusable lunchwear, you'll have an extra chance for prizes. Snacks and lunch are provided.
Wear comfortable shoes! Bring a sweater or scarf if you tend to get chilly.
Bring your own notepad/pen if you like to write notes.
Be ready to socialize and network! We have a free social hour planned between 4-5pm, and then an offsite pub event at 5pm where you can purchase dinner and/or drinks. So, bring your photo ID if you are 19+!
