Thanks: Beaty Biodiversity Museum
The Beaty Biodiversity Museum is another one of our generous Vancouver museums, donating door prizes to our conference.
If you haven't been to the Beaty before, it's located on the UBC Point Grey Campus. Explore the university’s spectacular biological collections, with 20,000 square feet of exhibits showcasing over 500 permanent exhibits. Among their two million treasured specimens are a 26-metre-long blue whale skeleton suspended in the atrium, the third-largest fish collection in Canada, and myriad fossils, shells, insects, fungi, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and plants from around BC and across the world.
Thank you to the Beaty for their donation of memberships, which give access to unlimited visits, plus access to members-only events, like their past Bugs & Beer event.
If you would like to donate a door prize to the conference, please send us an email.
